At NPN
we are financially supported through  membership fees, fund raising opportunities, service fees, grants and other added funding sources.
Because it is your generosity that enables us to operate and in turn be here to provide our valuable assistance to those who need it the most, we attempt to provide a diverse listing of services at prices that are most affordable to those we serve - the Nonprofits.  We know that your nonprofit organization and the communities that you serve will benefit from all that we have to offer.  We look forward to providing valuable services to you.

Our Services:
NonProfit Necessity, Inc. provides services to Members and Non-Members alike but our Members receive Discounted Rates.  If you are NOT a NPN member, consider joining us today.  Visit the NPN Membership page.  And if you do not see a desired service listed here, please do not hesitate to contact us in order to request it.

vGrant Writing Services: Our prices reflect the total amount due to NPN for this service.  Your personalized grant writing agreement will outline the specific details of your fee structure.  If you are awarded the grant, a predetermined Administrative Fee will be due to NPN upon funding of grant at a rate of 10% of grant proceeds, but not to exceed $3,000 for members or $5,000 for non-members (unless an exorbitant amount of writing is required, then the post funding amount may be more - but will be determined in advance).  For smaller grants, this Administrative Fee may be waived.  Text page count prepared by NPN does not reflect separate, additional documentation that may be provided by client as organization background or introductory information (i.e. biographies, board member listings, website print outs, promotional material, etc., as requested and approved by Grantor in RFP or Grant Application. All terms and conditions are set out prior to commencement of work and there is never a hidden surprise with NPN.  Please contact us for answers to any questions that you may have and for further explanation of these services.  We'll be happy to clarify our pricing structure in relation to YOUR specific grant writing needs.  Note:  All grant fees are determined at the discretion of NPN staff and may be decreased for certain organizations based upon need and organizational status.

   Grant - $0/Members    $5/Non-members
    Detail  Visit the NPN Home Page for excerpts of information on various grants that we have researched and listed for you.  If you require the full context
                of the grant, contact us to receive the detail via fax or regular US Postal Mail.  Pricing is free for NPN members for faxing content, and free for
                mailing up to 10 pages.  Additional postage/copying costs may be incurred if extensive postal and printing fees are required to forward information.


   Mini - $250/Members    $400/Non-members
                (This is typically the initial response to the Grant RFP - includes completion of required grant form/application and/or development of a program
                summary of up to seven pages of text and a brief budget summary overview.  Required copies and compilation, mailing of final grant submission packet
                is also included.) 
   
   Basic - $500/Members    $700/Non-members
                (This is typically the initial response to the Grant RFP - includes completion of required grant form/application and/or development of a program
                summary of up to ten pages of text and a brief budget summary overview.  Required copies and compilation, mailing of final grant submission packet
                is also included.)

   Regular- $750/Members    $1000/Non-members
                (This is typically the initial response to the Grant RFP - includes completion of required grant form/application and/or development of a program
                summary of up to thirteen pages of text and a budget summary overview.  This could also be the follow-up to the acceptance of an initial grant
                proposal.  This would involve a more in-depth grant outline and also a more detailed budget explanation.  Required copies and compilation, mailing of
                final grant submission packet is also included.)

   Extensive - $1000/Members   $1500/Non-members
                (This is typically the initial response to the Grant RFP - includes completion of required grant form/application and/or development of a program
                summary of up to fifteen pages of text where extensive research is required, and a detailed budget summary.  This could also be the follow-up to
                the acceptance of an initial grant proposal.  This would involve a more in-depth grant submission and also a more detailed budget.  Required
                copies and compilation, mailing of final grant submission packet is also included.)

   Maximum - $1500/Members   $2000/Non-members
                (This is typically the initial response to the Grant RFP - includes completion of required grant form/application and/or development of a program
                summary of up to twenty or more* pages of text where extensive research is required, and a detailed budget summary.  This could also be the
                follow-up to the acceptance of an initial grant proposal.  This would involve a more in-depth grant submission and also a more detailed budget. 
                Required copies and compilation, mailing of final grant submission packet is also included.)  *NPN/client agreement prior to price determination.


Additional grant submissions may be made on client's behalf if requested and often the information developed for the initial grant may suffice for the future grants, with a minimum of a differing cover letter and/or grant application or a modification of detail in the text portion.  If client requests this service, NPN charges a member base fee of $50 to $150 (depending upon extent of grant rework) to modify and submit detail to new Granting organization.  Nonmembers incur a resubmission fee of $150 to $250 (depending upon extent of grant rework).  In the case of major reworks a new grant writing fee may be charged.

Search for available corporation name; Obtain Federal Employer ID #; Articles of Incorporation*;   
                     Personalized Client Bylaws*; Personalized Client Waiver of Notice of First Meeting of Board*; Personalized Client
                     Minutes of First Meeting of Board*; Personalized Client Notice of Regular Board Meeting*;
                     Personalized Client Minutes of Regular Board Meeting Personalized Minutes*; Next Steps Informational Packet;
                     Corporate Seal; Shipping of Items in File-Ready format.       *Items provided on CD for your convenience if applicable.
                     Live customer service to answer your questions and provide follow-up throughout the filing process.
        
             Note: The filing of additional paperwork with the IRS is required in order to obtain 501c3 status.  Separate filing required for CA Exemption.
                     The standard processing time required by the Secretary of State to return filed documents is 6-10 weeks.

    Agent for Service - $25/Members   $100/Non-members - Serve as Agent for Service of Process for period of one year.
    Fed 501c3
- $900/Members   $1200/Non-members - *Prepare and submit 501c3 application to receive Federal IRS tax exemption status.
                                    *Includes IRS $300 filing fee charged for minimal annual receipts not to exceed $10,000 annually over a 4-year period.

    CA Exempt
- $350/Members   $450/Non-members - Prepare and submit California tax exemption application.

Event Calendar Listing: List your events at the NPN Networking Calendar for maximum Nonprofit community exposure.

vNPN Email Address: Several of our annual membership levels include the NPN email address.  We also offer a NPN email separate from membership or
     which can be added to the base membership levels as a membership enhancement.  This is a one time fee and the only condition is that you respond to our
     annual request for update of information and agree to receive NPN notifications via email.

vPublic Assistance Forum Listing: List your needs or respond to a posted need at the NPN Public Assistance Forum.

vResource Center Access: Visit the NPN Resource Center for free access to internet, printing and other resources.  Conduct your grant research at NPN.
    Appointments available for members only.  All others on first come, first served basis.

vPostage/Mailing Access: US Postal Meter and Scale available on premises for grant package mailing assistance.  Postage paid by customer.  We have
    regular daily postal pick-ups from NPN Headquarters or you can take advantage of quick and easy access to the Rancho Cucamonga main post office.
